The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of public sector projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for public sector projects.
  • Conduct cost analysis, feasibility studies, and risk assessments.
  • Manage and monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review tender documents and contracts.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Provide advice on procurement strategy and contractual matters.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress and financial status.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Professional membership with RICS or working towards it.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably within the public sector.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Excel and industry-standard estimation tools.
