Job Description:
As an Electrical Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of major data centre projects. Based in Frankfurt, you will be responsible for overseeing all cost-related activities associated with the electrical packages of the project, ensuring that they are delivered within budget and in line with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and management of cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for electrical works.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including tender evaluations and negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and manage project costs and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with budgetary requirements.
  • Conduct valuations and assessments of work in progress to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Prepare and submit variations and change orders, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of any cost discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions, providing financial and contractual advice to project teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the project management team and stakeholders to ensure effective communication of financial issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts, including cost reconciliation and closeout.

Key Requirements:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a focus on electrical projects.
  • Previous experience in data centre or mission-critical environments is a strong advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with an ability to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel or relocate to Frankfurt for project assignments.
