A respected, design-led landscape practice is seeking an Experienced Graduate Landscape Architect with around 1–2 years of professional experience to join their friendly, creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to take the next step in their career, develop their skills in a supportive environment, and work on a wide range of thoughtful and high-quality projects.
The role is based in a beautiful rural setting, so access to a car is essential.
About the Studio:
This is a warm, open, and collaborative studio with a strong reputation for modern design in historically sensitive contexts. The practice focuses on high-end gardens, bespoke private projects, and public realm schemes that require careful attention to detail and setting — deliberately steering away from large-scale residential and industrial work.
With a team made up of two directors, two senior designers, several graduates, and a network of trusted freelancers, the studio offers the perfect balance of expertise, mentoring, and shared creativity. It’s also a fun and sociable place to work, with regular studio outings, team trips, and a strong sense of community.
Ideal Candidate:
Holds a degree in Landscape Architecture (or equivalent)
Has 1–2 years’ experience in a landscape practice or relevant design role
Is enthusiastic, curious, and keen to develop strong design and technical skills
Interested in working on sensitive projects that blend new design with historic character
A full driving licence and access to a car (due to the rural location)
Chartership Support:
The practice has strong in-house experience in mentoring team members through the chartership process and is fully committed to supporting the successful candidate on their journey to becoming chartered.
Why Apply?
For an ambitious and thoughtful graduate, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow in a nurturing, well-respected studio. With the right support, stimulating projects, and a genuinely welcoming culture, it’s the ideal environment to build a long-term, rewarding career in landscape architecture.
