ATG are seeking a Ground Investigations Engineer to support the delivery of geotechnical and site investigation projects for a multi-disciplinary consultancy.
The role involves planning, supervising, and reporting on ground investigations across civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and supervise ground investigation works, including drilling, sampling, and in-situ testing.
- Analyse geotechnical data and produce clear technical reports and recommendations.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Support business development through technical input to proposals and tender submissions.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or Geological Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in site investigations, geotechnical testing, and laboratory analysis.
- Knowledge of UK and Irish geotechnical standards and guidance.
- Strong technical report writing and data interpretation skills.
- Professional membership (e.g., ICE, IGeol, or similar) desirable.
