Site Engineer Opportunities – Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental Contracting
Locations: Scotland | Hampshire & Berkshire | Manchester | North East England
Salary: £30,000 – £38,000 depending on experience
Employment: Full-time, permanent | 100% site-based
Our client is an established geotechnical and geoenvironmental contractor with a strong pipeline of site investigation projects across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint Senior Site Engineers, Experienced Site Engineers and Site Engineers across several regional locations.
These are excellent opportunities for candidates with hands-on site investigation contracting experience who are looking to develop their careers within a busy, technically focused contracting environment.
The Roles
Senior Site Engineer
Salary: £36,000 – £38,000 depending on experience
We are seeking experienced Site Engineers with ideally 2–3 years' site investigation contracting experience.
This is a full-time, site-based position suited to candidates who are confident working independently on site and have a strong practical understanding of site investigation activities.
Experienced Site Engineer
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 depending on experience
Candidates should have a minimum of 12–18 months' site investigation contracting experience.
This role offers the opportunity to further develop your technical and practical experience while working on a range of geotechnical and geoenvironmental site investigation projects.
Site Engineer
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000 depending on experience
We are also keen to hear from candidates with ideally 6–12 months' site investigation contracting experience who are looking to take the next step in their contracting career.
The role provides the opportunity to gain further hands-on experience across a variety of site investigation projects while developing within an established contractor.
What We're Looking For
For all three positions, previous site investigation contracting experience is essential.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Previous experience working for a site investigation contractor
- Practical hands-on site experience
- A strong understanding of geotechnical and/or geoenvironmental site investigation works
- The ability to work effectively in a fully site-based environment
- A willingness to travel and work away from home when required
- A professional and safety-conscious approach to site work
- Previous contractor-side site investigation experience is essential.
Please note: This is a 100% site-based role with no office-based or report-writing responsibilities.
