Junior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:
The Junior Quantity Surveyor (M&E and CSA) will assist in the financial and contractual management of both M&E and CSA packages for large-scale data center projects. This is a fantastic role for a developing professional eager to gain hands-on experience in two critical areas of project delivery. You will support senior QSs, gain experience in cost estimation, contract management, and cost control, and play a key role in ensuring projects stay on track financially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for both M&E and CSA elements.
• Monitor and manage cost variations, ensuring they are accurately reported and controlled.Work with senior team members to prepare valuations, financial reports, and forecasts.
• Support the management of subcontractor agreements and supplier relationships.Assist with procurement, including tendering and negotiation processes for both M&E and CSA packages.
• Ensure financial records and project documentation are well-organized and up to date.
• Track project progress and help ensure adherence to the financial goals and schedules.
• Contribute to monthly cost reporting and cash flow forecasting, ensuring transparency with the client.
• Participate in contract reviews and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.1-2 years of experience in a junior QS role, ideally with exposure to both M&E and CSA packages.
• Familiarity with cost management, construction contracts, and procurement processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel or relocate within Europe for project assignments.
