Junior Structural Engineer

ATG are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team in Dublin.

In this role, you will support senior engineers in the design, analysis, and inspection of structural components for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and infrastructure developments. This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in structural engineering within a collaborative and professional environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems using software tools and manual calculations.
• Support project teams in preparing structural drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and evaluations under the supervision of senior engineers.
• Contribute to structural reports, technical documents, and engineering calculations.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ensure all designs comply with local codes, standards, and regulations.
• Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in structural engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in structural engineering (internship experience preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit and structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
