Key Responsibilities
Lead the electrical design for large-scale, complex data centre projects.
Coordinate design outputs with mechanical, architectural, structural, and client teams.
Ensure robust power solutions are developed (LV/MV systems, standby power, UPS, redundancy, etc.).
Produce detailed electrical schematics, load calculations, single-line diagrams, and specifications.
Review and approve designs and documentation from junior engineers and subconsultants.
Support site inspections, commissioning plans, and handover documentation.
Stay current with evolving data centre design trends, client requirements, and regulatory changes.
Represent the consultancy at client meetings, technical workshops, and design reviews.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 8 years’ experience in building services or electrical systems design.
At least 3 years’ experience working on data centre or mission critical projects.
Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong technical understanding of:
Power distribution (LV/MV)
UPS systems, standby generators, redundancy (N+1, 2N, etc.)
Earthing and bonding
Fire alarm and security systems
Energy-efficient design and sustainability integration
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with experience leading project teams.
Familiarity with Dutch/NEN and international standards (IEC, EN).
Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, or similar.
Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus).
EU work authorization required.
