Key Responsibilities:

  • Structural design and detailing in timber, steel, masonry, and reinforced concrete
  • Preparing design calculations, technical drawings, and reports
  • Coordinating across projects from concept to completion
  • Liaising confidently with architects, contractors, and clients
  • Conducting site inspections and resolving construction queries
  • Ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in every stage of design

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum 2:1)
  • Minimum 3– years of UK-based post-graduate experience
  • Strong grasp of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and Eurocodes
  • Experience in both residential and commercial structural projects
  • Confident communicator with strong project management abilities
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla, and structural analysis software
  • Comfortable using Revit and producing coordinated BIM outputs
  • Experince with timber, steel, masonry, and RC design
  • CSCS card holder (or eligible)
  • Passionate about sustainability and reducing embodied carbon through design
  • Chartered or working toward chartership (support provided)
