Company Overview
We are a major global manufacturer and solutions provider of insulated panels, roofing, and cladding systems, delivering high-performance building envelope solutions for data centres and industrial clients. With production facilities across Europe and Dubai, we are delivering large-scale projects, and contributing to regional reconstruction efforts including in Ukraine. We are expanding our architectural leadership to ensure we stay ahead in design, innovation, and execution.
Role Summary
As Lead Project Architect, you’ll drive architectural leadership for data centre and high-tech industrial projects, especially where your solutions will integrate with our insulated panel, cladding, and roofing systems. You will oversee project design from concept through execution, ensuring architectural integrity, technical performance, and alignment with client and regulatory requirements. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, production, façade, thermal envelope specialists) and act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead architectural design direction for data centre and industrial projects, including site planning, façade design, building envelope systems, and integration of insulated panel and cladding elements.
Develop and maintain architectural standards, detail libraries, and design guidelines for product-led building envelope systems.
Coordinate and oversee all phases of design: schematic, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
Manage consultants, sub-consultants, and internal teams (structural, MEP, thermal, façade, cladding, envelope engineers).
Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, sustainability goals, energy / thermal performance metrics, and client requirements.
Produce or review detailed architectural drawings, sections, details, specifications, and performance documentation, particularly relating to building envelope performance (thermal insulation, moisture control, structural integration).
Work closely with sales, technical, manufacturing, and project management teams to align architectural solutions with product capabilities, cost targets, and constructability.
Serve as client-facing architectural lead, present concepts, lead design reviews, manage client change requests, and respond to technical queries.
Monitor project budgets, timelines, risk mitigation, and quality control.
Mentor and lead architectural team members, drive continuous improvement in standards and processes.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and technical forums.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Architecture (or equivalent).
10+ years of professional architecture experience, with significant exposure to large-scale industrial, data centre, or high-tech facilities.
Demonstrated experience working with insulated panels, façade systems, cladding, roofing systems, or building envelope integration.
Strong technical knowledge of thermal performance, moisture control, structural interfaces, and building physics.
Proficiency in architectural design tools (e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, BIM, detailing software).
Strong ability to read, produce, and review detailed architectural and construction documents.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client presentation skills.
Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead interdisciplinary teams.
Travel flexibility across Europe and other regions as required.
Self-starter, decisive, with a strong focus on outcomes, high quality, and innovation.
What’s on Offer
Competitive base salary, with generous bonus / commission / profit-sharing structure tied to project success and performance.
Flexible working arrangements, remote / hybrid / location flexibility — as long as results are delivered.
Opportunity to lead high-profile, technically challenging projects across Europe and beyond.
Access to a strong R&D and manufacturing pipeline, enabling deep integration between design and product innovation.
Career growth and leadership potential in a company scaling its architectural / technical leadership.
The chance to make a difference — contributing to major infrastructure projects, including those related to reconstruction efforts in Ukraine.
