Health and Safety Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures across multiple sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Deliver health and safety training to staff, subcontractors, and site visitors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and training activities.Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure the company is compliant with current health and safety legislation.
• Support project managers and site supervisors in managing safety aspects of their projects.Promote a positive health and safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
• Minimum of 2 yearS of experience in a Health and Safety role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
• Experience working on data centre and residential construction projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel between sites as required.
