Job Title: Project Manager – Industrial Fit-Out
Location: Rome, Italy

Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the construction of a large industrial complex currently in its pre-construction phase. The role requires a professional with a strong background in fit-out projects—ideally spanning laboratory, office, and industrial environments—and a solid understanding of construction processes involving machinery installation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead project activities through pre-construction, construction, and commissioning phases.

Coordinate design, engineering, procurement, and construction workflows to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.

Manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers, maintaining clear communication and performance oversight.

Ensure all project actions align with Italian building codes, safety requirements, and relevant regulations.

Monitor schedule, budget, risks, and progress, providing regular reporting to stakeholders.

Support site activities once construction begins, ensuring smooth installation and integration of machinery and specialized systems.

Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners in both Italian and English.

Candidate Profile

Minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager in construction.

Proven track record in lab, office, or industrial fit-out projects.

Professional experience in Italy, with strong familiarity with local permitting, compliance, and construction practices.

Degree in Architecture or Engineering, with hands-on construction management experience.

Fluent in Italian and English.

Able to start quickly; candidates with short notice periods will be prioritized.

Working Arrangement

Remote work during the pre-construction phase (no local office in Rome).

On-site presence in Rome required 2–3 days per week once construction begins in February, with frequency adjusted based on project needs.

Timeline
The position is available immediately, with the goal of having the Project Manager in place before construction starts.
