Senior Bridge Engineer

An established engineering consultancy in Dublin is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their structures team, working on a diverse portfolio of major transportation and infrastructure projects across Ireland.

The Role:

• Lead the design and delivery of bridge and structural engineering projects.
• Prepare and review structural calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports.
• Work across bridge assessment, refurbishment and new-build projects.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Contribute to project management, tenders and business development activities.

Requirements:

• 6+ years' experience in bridge/structural engineering, ideally within a consultancy environment.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
• Strong experience in bridge design, assessment and/or refurbishment.
• Proficiency with relevant structural analysis and design software.
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and Irish/UK bridge standards.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
