As a Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you’ll take ownership of major electrical design packages, working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient solutions. You’ll have the opportunity to lead technical design, mentor others, and play a key role in shaping the electrical engineering direction of landmark projects across Ireland and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead electrical services design on large-scale building and data centre projects
- Manage project delivery from concept through detailed design and commissioning
- Collaborate with mechanical, sustainability, and digital design teams to ensure integration and innovation
- Oversee technical quality, documentation, and compliance with industry standards
- Support, guide, and mentor junior and intermediate engineers
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders, representing the consultancy with professionalism and confidence
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards)
- Proven experience in electrical design and project management within a consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of LV/HV systems, power distribution, and building automation
- Experience in mission-critical or data centre design is advantageous
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
