As a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating mechanical design across a range of challenging projects. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensure delivery excellence, and mentor junior engineers — all within an environment that values innovation, technical rigour, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead mechanical design delivery for large-scale building and data centre projects
- Oversee project stages from concept to detailed design, installation, and commissioning
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure integrated engineering solutions
- Drive sustainability, efficiency, and innovation across all project work
- Mentor and guide junior team members to support their technical growth
- Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and contractors
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards)
- Proven experience delivering mechanical design projects within a consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, thermal design, and energy-efficient technologies
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Experience in mission-critical or data centre projects advantageous
