As a recruitment agency with deep expertise in technical and professional placements, we are proud to partner with this prestigious organization in their search for a senior-level Structural Engineering Consultant to join their expanding London office.

This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and grow a successful structural engineering consulting practice, focused on forensic investigations, construction claims, and expert witness services. The successful candidate will be responsible for business development, strategic consulting, and expert testimony, while also mentoring technical staff and managing high-stakes projects. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the firm’s footprint in the UK and Europe, working closely with multidisciplinary teams on complex and impactful assignments.

Key Qualifications:

 

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil or Structural Engineering (preferred but not required)
  • Chartered Engineer (required)
  • Extensive experience in construction claims, dispute resolution, and litigation services
  • Proven ability to develop business and manage clients, with an existing network and reputation in the industry
  • Strong track record of expert witness testimony in dispute resolution settings
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Record of publishing professional papers and delivering technical presentations
  • Effective leadership and mentoring skills for developing junior consultants and staff
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and timelines
