Senior Project Planner

The Role

As Senior Project Planner, you will take ownership of the project schedule, working closely with the Project Director, construction teams, subcontractors and client representatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining detailed project programmes using Primavera P6
• Monitoring construction progress against the agreed baseline programme
• Producing weekly and monthly planning reportsIdentifying programme risks, delays and critical-path activities
• Supporting recovery planning and mitigation strategies
• Coordinating programme updates with engineering, procurement and construction teams
• Reviewing subcontractor schedules and progress reports
• Presenting programme information to senior stakeholders and clients
• Supporting change management, extensions of time and delay analysis

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Senior Planner or Project Planner on large construction projects
• Strong Primavera P6 experience
• Data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial or other mission-critical project experience
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and project controlsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English
• EU passport or existing right to work in Portugal preferred
