Technical Office Manager — Data Centre Project

About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Office Manager to join our team on a data centre project in Lisbon. This role is the critical link between the office and site teams, ensuring that project information, documentation, and communications flow seamlessly across all functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in one of the fastest-growing sectors in construction. You will be embedded in a live data centre project, gaining first-hand experience of how these complex, high-specification facilities are delivered.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the flow of information between the project office and site-based teams
Oversee project documentation including drawings, RFIs, transmittals, registers, and correspondence
Maintain document control systems and ensure all records are accurate, up to date, and accessible
Coordinate meetings, track actions, and distribute minutes across project stakeholders
Support the project management team with reporting, scheduling, and general administrative functions
Assist with quality, health & safety, and compliance record-keeping
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and consultants as required
Help manage procurement tracking and material deliveries between office and site
Requirements
Previous experience in a technical office, project administration, or document control role within construction, engineering, or a related industry
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills — comfortable working with both office-based and site-based teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with document management systems (Aconex, Asite, BIM 360, or similar) is an advantage
A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
Willingness to work on-site and travel between office and site environments
Desirable
Experience on mission-critical, data centre, or MEP-heavy projects
Familiarity with construction project management software
Working knowledge of Portuguese is a plus but not essential
