Your Goal:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the commercial success of our projects. You’ll be responsible for managing contracts, assessing and negotiating variations, supporting project financial performance, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Your work will directly influence project profitability, risk management, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert advice on contractual matters at both project and organisational level.

Manage and process contractual claims and maintain thorough associated records.

Identify opportunities to maximise project revenue and reduce costs, investigating any potential financial losses.

Support project cash flow management.

Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing project correspondence.

Lead negotiations and agreement of subcontractor and supplier terms.

Prepare and finalise documentation for subcontractors and suppliers.

Ensure timely closure of final accounts for subcontractors and suppliers.

Prepare and review monthly cost reports and commercial updates.

Oversee and update commercial trackers such as risk registers, variation logs, and extension of time sheets.

Measure, price, and negotiate project variations with clients, subcontractors, and quantity surveyors.

Draft all required commercial and contractual correspondence promptly and accurately.
Who We’re Looking For:

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.

Extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally on large-scale construction projects.

Proven ability to manage subcontractors and suppliers in high-volume site environments.

Skilled in stakeholder engagement and confident representing the company in meetings with clients and consultants.

Strong understanding of site operations and construction processes.

Exceptional time management and organisational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication, reporting, and presentation skills.

Self-motivated, commercially focused, and results-driven.
