Electrical Engineer

A leading Irish consultancy with over a century of expertise in Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineering is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join its Dublin office. About the Role:

You will be part of a collaborative engineering team responsible for delivering innovative, high-quality electrical designs that prioritise energy efficiency, safety, and long-term value for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and coordinate electrical building services designs for a range of projects
• Use industry-standard software to produce accurate drawings and calculations
• Liaise with clients, architects, and other design professionals to integrate electrical systems seamlessly
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities
• Ensure compliance with current regulations, codes of practice, and project specifications
• Support senior engineers with project delivery, reporting, and documentation

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant consultancy or building services experience
• Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, Dialux or similar
• Sound understanding of Irish building regulations and standards
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Enthusiastic about sustainable and energy-efficient design
