We are partnering with a leading contractor in the renewables, utilities, and power sector to find a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor. This is an incredible opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure projects, including wind farms, solar power, and utility networks.
The ideal candidate will be a commercial expert with extensive experience managing costs, contracts, and risks across complex infrastructure projects. If you’re passionate about making a positive impact through green energy and large-scale utility projects, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commercial management of major projects within renewables, utilities, and power.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
- Oversee procurement processes and contract administration (NEC/JCT contracts).
- Manage subcontractor relationships, valuations, and payments.
- Provide strategic advice on risk management and project performance.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
- Mentor and support junior commercial staff within the team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in infrastructure, power, or renewables.
- Strong knowledge of standard forms of contract, especially NEC and JCT.
- Excellent negotiation, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (RICS chartered status desirable).
- Passionate about sustainability and delivering high-quality renewable energy projects.
