ATG are looking for an experienced Associate Director – Civils to lead the delivery of major roads projects.
This senior role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, driving project delivery, and maintaining strong client relationships across public and private sector road infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee delivery of complex roads and highways projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality, safety, programme, and cost targets are met.
- Act as senior client interface, building and maintaining trusted relationships.
- Support business development, bid preparation, and strategic growth in the civils sector.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, governance, and best practice.
- Mentor and develop senior engineers and project managers within the team.
Skills & Experience
- Significant experience delivering major roads/highways projects in a consultancy or client-side environment.
- Proven leadership of project teams and ability to manage multiple complex schemes.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering design, construction, and contract management.
- Excellent client, stakeholder, and commercial management skills.
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or working towards chartered status preferred.
