Access Talent Group is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy in Ireland that is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join its growing Cork office. This is a full-time, office-based position, offering an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise and work alongside an experienced team on complex, high-value projects.
The consultancy is recognised for delivering innovative and technically challenging projects across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors. As an Intermediate Structural Engineer, you will contribute to the design and analysis of structural elements across a range of projects, assisting senior engineers and project leads in delivering high-quality, compliant, and constructible designs. You’ll gain exposure to all stages of the project lifecycle and take on increasing responsibility as you develop your technical and project coordination skills.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (working towards Chartered Engineer status desirable).
- 1–5 years’ experience in structural design within consultancy, ideally in the pharma, life sciences, or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of Eurocodes and familiarity with design software such as Tekla, Revit, or STAAD.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Enthusiasm for learning and progressing towards greater project responsibility.
