Senior Civil Engineer

The Role

You will join an established civil engineering team delivering projects across multiple sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, education and infrastructure. Working closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary design teams, you will play a key role in the delivery of projects from concept through to construction.

This role offers strong long term progression within a well respected consultancy with a consistent pipeline of Irish projects and a strong technical reputation.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading civil engineering design across a range of development and infrastructure projects
• Managing projects from initial concept through planning and detailed design to construction
• Preparing and reviewing civil engineering drawings, reports and technical specifications
• Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and local authorities
• Coordinating with internal structural, transport and environmental teams
• Attending site visits and project meetings
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
• Supporting ongoing business development and client relationships

You will be part of a collaborative team environment with clear progression opportunities to Principal level.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• 6–10+ years’ experience within an engineering consultancy
• Chartered Engineer (or working towards) preferred
• Strong experience in Irish civil engineering design and project delivery
• Experience across residential, commercial or infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Full driving licence
