Associate Director (Mechanical)

An esteemed multinational, multidisciplinary design consultancy is seeking a seasoned Mechanical Associate Director to lead and manage mechanical engineering projects across Ireland. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Oversee the planning, design, and execution of mechanical engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.?
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.?
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.?
• Technical Excellence: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to integrate best practices and innovative technologies into projects.?
• Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the consultancy by identifying new opportunities and assisting in proposal development.

To be considered for the role, you should have the following:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role within a design consultancy environment
• Demonstrated expertise in managing projects in Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, and Industrial sectors
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and client relationship abilities
• Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable
