ATG are seeking a talented Bridge Design Engineer to join a multidisciplinary consultancy in Dublin.
The role involves designing, analysing, and delivering safe and efficient bridge structures for a variety of infrastructure projects, working collaboratively across engineering teams and client stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyse bridges and associated structures using appropriate codes and software.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on civil, structural, and transportation projects.
- Support project delivery from concept through construction, ensuring quality, cost, and programme compliance.
- Provide technical input for tender documents, feasibility studies, and design reviews.
- Keep up-to-date with best practice, standards, and innovations in bridge engineering.
Skills & Experience
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered or working towards chartered status (IEI/Civil or Structural).
- Experience in bridge design and analysis, preferably within a consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, LUSAS, MIDAS).
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
