CAD Technician

Access Talent Group are recruiting for a planning consultancy, which is growing consistently, enjoying a reputation in the market for excellence and delivery. They offer has expanded from planning, to design, to environmental consultancy advice, evolving to economics, heritage expertise, transport and infrastructure and finally land and property. They are looking for a CAD Technician to join their growing team in Leeds.

Essential:

• Preliminary Highways and Junction design layouts using AutoCAD
• Production of other design drawings such as: Carparks, Bus stations, Footways and Cycle routes
• Working alongside both the Transport Planning and Civil Infrastructure team
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
• Excellent report-writing skills

The role:

• Preparation of technical drawings utilising AutoCAD.
• Preliminary design of access and basic junction design (priority, roundabouts, signalisation).
• Knowledge of relevant standards (DMRB / MfS / Local Transport Notes / Traffic Signs Manual).
• Swept Path Analysis using AutoTrack.
