Our team supports a wide variety of projects—from residential and commercial developments to mixed-use and strategic land schemes.

They pride themselves on providing pragmatic, commercially-aware transport planning that helps unlock development potential. Due to a growing pipeline of exciting projects, they are looking to add a proactive and ambitious Graduate Transport Planner with around 2 years’ experience to our friendly and close-knit team.

The Role

As a Graduate Transport Planner, you’ll play an active role in supporting the delivery of transport planning projects. You will be involved in a wide range of responsibilities including:

  • Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
  • Conducting data analysis including traffic surveys and junction modelling (e.g. using Junctions 9, LinSig, or similar)
  • Assisting in site appraisal and access feasibility studies
  • Engaging with clients, local authorities, and project teams
  • Supporting planning applications and contributing to technical reports and design recommendations
  • Staying up to date with local and national policy changes that affect transport planning

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Around 2 years of professional experience within the UK transport planning sector
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. TRICS, TEMPro, AutoCAD, Junctions 9, LinSig, ArcGIS)
  • Familiarity with private sector development planning work
  • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently in a small-team environment
