Are you a skilled and motivated Civil Engineer ready to take your career to the next level? My Client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing Civil Engineering team, based in either London or Birmingham, with flexible hybrid working available.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a diverse range of high-profile projects across the UK and internationally. Reporting to a Partner, Associate, or Principal Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering solutions across highways, drainage, and infrastructure schemes.
You’ll be expected to:
- Lead and manage project resources and outputs.
- Produce detailed designs, calculations, drawings, and reports.
- Deliver Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies, and Flood Evacuation Plans.
- Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians.
- Engage with clients, co-professionals, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and maintain risk assessments.
- Contribute to bids, fee proposals, and project planning.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
- A Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (CEng/IEng) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Educated to BEng/BSc or MEng level (or equivalent apprenticeship qualifications).
- Proficient in software such as InfoDrainage (Level 5), Civil 3D (Level 3), and NBS (Level 5).
- Experienced with UK standards including Sewers for Adoption, DMRB, and Manual for Streets.
- A strong communicator and a natural collaborator with commercial awareness.
