Civil Engineer

Our client, a respected UK-based engineering consultancy, is seeking a Civil Engineer with experience in the water sector to join their growing team. Projects

• Infrastructure: Trunk mains, distribution mains, and strategic connections.
• Non-Infrastructure: Production site civil works and structural alterations.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Support & Leadership
• Support and manage projects from initiation to completion.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Client Engagement

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Collaborate to understand project objectives and deliver tailored solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including contractors, structural engineers, and environmental specialists.
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive working environment.

Quality Assurance

• Implement robust quality control procedures.
• Review project deliverables to maintain the highest engineering standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
• Minimum of 3 years’ civil engineering experience, ideally within the water industry.
• Proven record of successful project contributions.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or structural analysis tools.

Desirable:

• Working towards or holding Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a recognised institution (e.g., ICE).
