Civil Engineering Technician

We are recruiting a skilled Civil Engineering Technician to join our consulting team in Lisburn. This role involves technical drawing design assistance and project support across healthcare education commercial industrial leisure and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with civil and structural design tasks across a varied project portfolio
• Produce drawings plans sections schedules and documentation
• Work with senior engineers to translate design intent into technical documents suitable for construction
• Assist in preparing construction information including layouts general arrangement drawings details and compliance documentation
• Coordinate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure accurate information flow
• Support project delivery stages including reviewing as built drawings responding to technical queries and ensuring adherence to specifications
• Maintain drawing standards revise information and contribute to quality control

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant qualification such as HNC HND diploma or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering Technology or significant practical experience
• Five to ten years experience in a civil structural technician role
• Competency in software such as AutoCAD Revit or similar
• Ability to interpret engineer markups and construction documentation
• Good communication skills and teamwork ability
• Strong attention to detail
