Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage effectively with the clients D+Design Team and wider project stakeholders.

  • Prepare and issue MTS (Material Technical Submissions) to the client’s Technical Assessors / Multi-Disciplinary Technical Team (TA/MDTT).

  • Ensure all technical submissions meet project requirements and align with the GWR, SSWR, and contract documents.

  • Oversee and manage the D+Design Team’s submission of Design Documents and Checklists via Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

  • Coordinate and attend site-based First-of-a-Kind (FoK) and Benchmark Mockups; document attendance, produce reports, and upload records to the CDE.

  • Review and verify subcontractor and supplier MTS documents, ensuring inclusion of up-to-date CE marking and DOPs.

  • Contribute to the bi-weekly Contractor Progress Reports, including updates on design submissions, RFIs, and MTS status.

  • Manage the end-to-end design development process from concept to construction.

  • Liaise with architectural teams and specialist subcontractors (e.g. façade contractors) to integrate and resolve design interfaces.

  • Lead and document design coordination meetings.

  • Oversee and coordinate the design of façade systems including curtain walling, glazing, cladding, brickwork, etc.

  • Review and manage subcontractor drawings and ensure alignment with the overall design.

  • Monitor and manage design workflows and document control through Autodesk platforms.

  • Collaborate with M&E, structural, and architectural teams to address clashes and technical challenges early.

  • Track and manage the status of RFIs, submittals, and approvals in line with the construction programme.

  • Coordinate with architects and clients on material selections, mock-ups, and sample reviews.

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and relevant façade and construction standards.

  • Strong leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite and AutoCAD.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to interpret complex construction drawings and technical specifications.

  • Experience working in regulated environments.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
