Our client is one of Ireland’s leading civil, structural, and environmental engineering consultancies. They are a multidisciplinary consultancy, dedicated in creating a low-carbon future, working in important and impactful projects. 

Your primary responsibilities as an Ecologist will involve conducting field surveys, producing technical reports such as Ecological Impact Assessments and Appropriate Assessments, engaging in consultations with stakeholders and prescribed bodies, and overseeing the implementation of mitigation measures and ecological enhancements. Your expertise will contribute to our commitment to sustainable practices and environmental conservation.

What you will need: 

  • Degree in ecology or related field (Level 8 qualification or equivalent)
  • 2-6 years' consultancy experience, CIEEM membership
  • Expertise in Irish and European legislation
  • Proficient in GIS systems (ArcGIS, QGIS)
