Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Access Talent Group is partnering with a respected engineering consultancy in Ireland that is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing civil and infrastructure team in Dublin.

This consultancy is known for delivering high-quality, sustainable design solutions across infrastructure, transport, and public realm projects. They offer a collaborative environment where engineers can take ownership of projects, develop their technical expertise, and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.

In this role you'll be expected to lead geotechnical design and analysis on infrastructure and civil engineering projects, oversee ground investigations, site assessments, and geotechnical risk evaluations and prepare geotechnical design reports, specifications, and technical documentation.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in geotechnical engineering within consultancy or contractor environment.
• Strong technical background in geotechnical design, ground improvement, and foundations.
• Experience with design software such as PLAXIS, WALLAP, Slope/W, or similar.
• Good understanding of Eurocodes, Irish and UK geotechnical standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
