Electrical Engineer

Our client is a long-established, market-leading engineering consultancy specialising in Mechanical, Electrical and Sustainable Building Design. With a strong project pipeline and continued growth, they are now seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join their Dublin team.

The Role

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will support the delivery of complex building services projects across multiple sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, residential, retail, hospitality, data centres and public sector developments.

You will work alongside senior engineers and project leads, contributing to design, coordination, site support and client engagement, with clear progression towards Senior Engineer level.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and delivery of LV & MV electrical systems
• Prepare electrical layouts, calculations, schematics and specifications
• Support BIM coordination and model development using Revit and related tools
• Participate in design meetings, client workshops and site inspections
• Assist with technical reports, tender documentation and construction packages
• Work closely with mechanical, sustainability and architectural teams
• Support senior engineers with project coordination and delivery

Experience & Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 3–6 years’ experience in building services electrical design
• Strong exposure to commercial and public sector projects
• Experience with Revit, Amtech, MagiCAD, IES or similar design software
• Knowledge of Irish and international building standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Motivation to progress towards Senior Engineer & Chartership
