BIM Lead

Our client is a top-tier, forward-thinking engineering consultancy in Ireland, recognised for delivering innovative, sustainable and high-performance building solutions across Ireland and the UK. With an extensive project portfolio spanning multiple sectors, they are now seeking an experienced BIM Lead to head up their BIM function from their Cork office.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape BIM strategy, drive digital transformation and influence how major projects are delivered across the business.

The Role

As BIM Lead, you will take ownership of BIM implementation and digital delivery across multidisciplinary engineering projects. You will lead the development of standards, workflows and technology adoption while working closely with engineering, energy and sustainability teams to ensure consistent, high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the company’s BIM strategy and digital delivery framework
• Manage and develop the internal BIM team
• Define and implement BIM standards, protocols and workflows
• Oversee BIM execution plans and project compliance
• Drive continuous improvement in digital design and project coordination
• Support multidisciplinary project teams across MEP and sustainability projects
• Champion innovation and best practice in data-driven design & construction
• Provide training, mentoring and technical leadership across the organisation

Experience & Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Architecture, Construction or similar
• 7+ years’ experience in BIM / Digital Engineering leadership roles
• Strong background delivering BIM on complex building projects
• Expert knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, ACC / BIM 360 and associated tools
• Proven experience developing BIM standards and managing multi-project delivery
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic mindset with hands-on technical capability
