Access Talent Group have partnered with a British built environment consultancy who are looking to grow their geospatial and surveying team after continued growth and success. Our client has one of the largest teams of chartered surveyors in the UK and utilises their expertise across every stage of property and land investment – from design concepts right through to demolition and disposal, with projects valued at more than £30m. The Leeds office is now looking to add an assistant Geospatial surveyor to their rapidly growing team.

The successful candidate will assist surveyors in capturing geospatial and topological data, using the latest laser scanning equipment to develop 2D and 3D survey drawings using AutoCAD and Revit software packages. Our client works across a multitude of environments, from bespoke multi million pound property projects through to multi billion pound civil infrastructure construction sites – due to our clients diverse project portfolio, the ideal candidate will take a flexible and mouldable approach to their day job, adapting from project to project and client to client.

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Experience in using survey equipment (total stations, laser scanners, etc)
     
  • Experience in using AutoCAD would be advantageous but not essential
     
  • Knowledge of Cyclone would be advantageous but not essential
     
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
     
  • A full clean driving license is required
     
  • The bility to work effectively alone or as part of a team
     
  • Experience with Leica P40, Leica RTC360, NavVis VLX and Leica BLK2GO
