Their Glasgow office plays a key role in delivering complex ground investigation projects, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a leadership position within a dynamic and forward-thinking team.

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of ground investigation projects from the Glasgow office. This is a pivotal role combining operational leadership, project oversight, and commercial responsibility. You will be responsible for managing and developing a multidisciplinary team, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high technical and quality standards. The role involves overseeing multiple projects, coordinating resources, supporting planning and delivery, and acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. You will also champion health, safety, environmental, and quality best practices, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to business growth through client engagement and business development activities.
 

Key qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience within ground investigation or a related field
     
  • Proven experience in a leadership or Contracts Manager role
     
  • BSc degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
     
  • SMSTS certificationS
     
  • trong leadership and team development skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate others
     
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
     
  • Commercial awareness, including cost control, forecasting, and contract performance management
     
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
