With a strong presence across the Middle East and international markets, the organisation brings together architects, engineers, landscape professionals, BIM specialists and other technical experts to deliver innovative, high-quality projects across the built environment.

Operating within a diverse and multicultural environment, the organisation is continuing to grow its regional presence and is looking for an experienced HR professional to support its people strategy and wider business objectives.

The Role

The HR Manager will oversee the full HR function in Abu Dhabi, providing both strategic and operational support across the employee lifecycle. The role will work closely with senior leadership and managers to support recruitment, employee development, performance, engagement and HR governance.

A minimum of 8–10 years of post-graduate HR experience is essential, including at least 5 years in an HR Manager or equivalent role. Previous experience within an AEC consultancy is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full HR function, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, C&B, L&D and succession planning.
  • Manage technical recruitment across architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, BIM and other design disciplines.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution.
  • Support HR operations across the GCC and Asia, with a strong understanding of regional labour laws and employment practices.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders on workforce planning, organisational development and people strategy.
  • Lead, coach and develop the HR team while driving continuous improvement across HR processes.

Essential Requirements

  • 8–10 years of overall post-graduate HR experience – essential.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as an HR Manager or equivalent – essential.
  • Previous HR experience within an AEC consultancy – mandatory.
  • Degree in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
  • Strong technical recruitment experience, ideally across architecture, engineering, landscape and BIM.
  • Experience across the GCC and/or Asia.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, employee relations and regional employment practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be an experienced and credible HR professional with excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills. They will demonstrate high levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality, together with strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
