A leading, design-focused landscape architecture studio in Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join its growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer to take a senior position within an established UAE practice known for creating distinctive, context-driven and sustainable landscapes across the region. The studio has built a strong reputation for delivering projects that combine ambitious design with a genuine response to their environment, with a portfolio spanning high-end residential, hospitality, public realm, urban landscapes and large-scale mixed-use developments.
Its work includes some of Dubai and the UAE’s most recognised landscape projects, from award-winning sustainability-led developments and urban parks to private residences, resorts and destination landscapes. The practice is particularly recognised for its innovative approach to arid-climate design, native planting, sustainable materials and creating memorable places that are both visually compelling and environmentally responsive.
The Role
The successful Senior Landscape Architect will be a strong designer with approximately 6–7 years of professional experience, including proven experience operating at Senior Landscape Architect level.
The position is heavily design focused, requiring someone who can contribute creatively from concept through to delivery while confidently developing design ideas, presentations and project information. They will play an important role within the studio, working closely with senior leadership, clients and multidisciplinary consultants to develop thoughtful, high-quality landscape solutions.
Alongside their own design responsibilities, the Senior Landscape Architect will also provide guidance and support to more junior members of the team, helping to coordinate workloads, review design output and encourage the development of emerging landscape architects.
Key Requirements
- Around 6–7 years of professional landscape architecture experience
- Proven experience working successfully in a Senior Landscape Architect position
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating creativity, design thinking and attention to detail
- UAE landscape architecture experience is essential
- Experience working across concept, detailed design and project development stages
- Confident working within multidisciplinary design teams
- Previous experience mentoring, supporting or helping manage junior landscape architects
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- A genuine passion for landscape architecture, design and the creation of distinctive places
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment
- Available to start within one month
Education & Passport Requirements
The ideal candidate will have received a Western education in landscape architecture.
Due to the international nature of the studio’s projects and associated travel requirements, candidates holding a valid UK, EU or Australian passport are particularly preferred. However, this is not an absolute requirement, and candidates will be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on their experience, qualifications and suitability for the role.
Why Consider the Opportunity?
This is not a production-led position. It is an opportunity for a designer who wants to be genuinely involved in shaping projects and contributing ideas within a highly creative landscape architecture environment.
The successful candidate will join a boutique practice where design quality, sustainability, context and innovation sit at the heart of the work. With an increasingly diverse portfolio across the UAE and wider region, the role offers the chance to work on projects that range from intimate high-end landscapes through to significant public and destination developments.
For an ambitious Senior Landscape Architect looking to take the next step in Dubai, this represents an opportunity to work alongside a talented design team and contribute to a portfolio of distinctive, internationally recognised landscapes.
