I’m working exclusively with a well-established client within the M&E Construction sector who is looking to add a Junior Electrical Estimator to their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career—whether you have some estimating experience under your belt or you’ve recently graduated and are eager to take your first step into the industry.
About the Role:
As a Junior Electrical Estimator, you’ll be working closely with senior members of the estimating team, assisting in the preparation of accurate cost estimates for a range of electrical installation projects. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the full tendering process and develop your technical and commercial skills within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in producing detailed and competitive electrical estimates
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
- Support the preparation of tender submissions and project proposals
- Work collaboratively with project and engineering teams
About You:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline (ideal for recent graduates!)
- OR some commercial experience within electrical estimating or an M&E environment
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Confident communicator with the willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
