Our client is looking for an experinced Structural Engineer to join thier expandng team in thier Cardiff office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage your own portfolio of structural engineering projects across a range of sectors.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and quality standards across all project deliverables.
  • Oversee project quality management and commercial performance.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients while seeking new business opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.
  • Produce structural designs and technical reports using a variety of industry-standard software.
  • Report directly to the board and contribute to strategic direction and planning.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years' post-graduate experience in structural engineering.
  • Proven experience taking full design responsibility for projects.
  • Chartered (or equivalent experience and expertise).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of all major structural materials.
  • Familiarity with tools such as:
    • TEKLA (TSD & Portal Frame)
    • Scia, Tedds
    • Revit Structure, AutoCAD
  • Current UK driving licence is essential.
