ATG are seeking an experienced Project Director – Rail to lead the delivery and growth of an exciting rail portfolio in Northern Ireland and across the UK & Ireland.
The role will provide strategic leadership on major rail programmes, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and act as a senior advisor to key clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct major rail projects and programmes from inception to completion.
- Provide strategic leadership and governance across multidisciplinary teams.
- Act as senior client interface, building trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
- Drive business development, including bids, frameworks, and client growth.
- Manage commercial performance, risk, and quality across the rail portfolio.
- Mentor senior staff and support capability growth within the rail team.
- Champion safety, sustainability, and best practice in rail delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Senior leadership experience delivering complex rail infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record as Project Director or Programme Director within consultancy or client-side environments.
- Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland rail standards and delivery frameworks.
- Excellent commercial, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Chartered status (or working towards) in a relevant discipline preferred.
