We are working in partnership with a leading building consultancy specialising in water infrastructure projects. With a reputation for delivering high-quality, sustainable solutions, they provide expert project management, design, and consultancy services across a wide range of water-related developments, from treatment plants and pumping stations to flood defence and drainage systems.
The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex water projects from inception through to completion. You will play a pivotal role in managing budgets, schedules, stakeholders, and technical teams, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple water-focused construction and infrastructure projects.
- Develop project plans, programmes, and budgets in line with client requirements.
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, and supplier management.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and environmental considerations.
- Manage risk, change control, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive collaboration between multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
- Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction or building consultancy sector, ideally with a focus on water projects.
- Strong understanding of water infrastructure, utilities, or environmental projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with NEC contracts and project controls is highly desirable.
- Relevant professional qualifications (APM, RICS, ICE, or similar) preferred.
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
