Our client, a leading specialist in infrastructure, renewables, utilities, and power projects, is seeking an experienced and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation renowned for delivering large-scale, sustainable projects that shape the future of the energy and infrastructure sectors.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You will oversee all aspects of cost management and commercial performance while working collaboratively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of projects.
  • Provide accurate cost advice and reporting throughout project life cycles.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
  • Monitor project progress, measure variations, and provide valuations.
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements.
  • Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Support procurement processes and manage project cash flow.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to achieve project objectives.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, renewables, utilities, or power sectors.
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of NEC and JCT contract frameworks.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines.
  • Chartered status (MRICS) or working towards it would be an advantage.
