Senior Mechanical Enginner

Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong Irish experience in Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare projects? Our client, a rapidly growing M&E Design Consultancy based in Mullingar, is looking for a talented professional to lead a team of Mechanical Engineers and drive the successful delivery of exciting projects.

The Role:

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key leadership role, managing mechanical design processes and mentoring a team. You will ensure all designs meet Irish engineering standards and contribute to the continued success and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

? Lead and mentor a team of Mechanical Engineers
? Oversee mechanical design for Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare projects
? Ensure all designs comply with Irish building regulations and engineering standards
? Collaborate with architects, electrical engineers, and contractors
? Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and resolve technical challenges
? Provide expert guidance on HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical building services

What We’re Looking For:

? Extensive Irish experience in mechanical design for building services
? Proven ability to lead and develop a team of engineers
? Strong knowledge of Irish mechanical engineering standards and regulations
? Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
? Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
? Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications

This roles comes with an excellent starting salary, along with benefits including Compnay Pension and Healthcare Schemes! There is also a flexible hybrid working model that comes into place once you are setlled into the team.

To add onto the flexibility aspect of the role, our client now has office space in Galway and Dublin, so if you would prefer to be at an office desk 5 days a week but still close to home, there is the option for that too!
