  • Mentor and guide junior staff, providing technical oversight and career support
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to develop strong working relationships
  • Ensure all designs comply with national standards, building regulations, and best practices
  • Contribute to bids and proposals as required

About You Essential:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
  • Chartered or nearing Chartered status (ICE or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in drainage design and infrastructure engineering
  • Strong knowledge of SuDS, UK design standards (e.g., Sewers for Adoption, CIRIA), and local authority approval processes
  • Proficient with industry software (e.g., MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, Civil 3D, AutoCAD)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a consultancy environment
  • Familiarity with flood risk assessments and drainage strategy reports
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary package based on experience
  • Generous holiday allowance + pension + flexible working options
  • Ongoing CPD, training, and professional development
  • Supportive and inclusive team environment
  • Varied and challenging project work across the South and beyond
