Senior Revit Technician

As a Senior Revit Technician, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of high-quality Revit models and technical documentation. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and BIM managers to ensure coordinated and efficient workflows throughout the design and construction phases of a project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the production and coordination of Revit models and technical drawings for a variety of project types.
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, both internally and with external consultants.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192).
• Support project delivery through all design stages from concept to construction documentation.
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to best practice in modelling and drawing production.
• Participate in project BIM coordination meetings and clash detection reviews.
• Maintain and develop Revit families, templates, and content libraries in line with company standards.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of BIM protocols, standards, and quality control procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Revit Technician or BIM Technician role, ideally in a senior capacity.
• Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential.
• Familiarity with Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM360 / ACC, and other Autodesk tools desirable.
• Strong technical understanding of architectural or engineering detailing and construction methods.
• Proven experience working on medium to large-scale projects across different sectors.
• Knowledge of Irish and UK building regulations and construction practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and time management.
• Ability to lead or manage a small team of technicians when required.
• A relevant qualification in architectural technology, engineering, or a related discipline.
