Our client is a well-established and highly respected engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality structural engineering solutions across a diverse range of projects. Due to continued growth and an increasing project workload, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Revit Technician to join their Leicester team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician to take a senior position within the business, working on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and other structural projects. You will be responsible for producing detailed structural drawings and models, working closely with engineers and other members of the design team to ensure projects are delivered accurately and efficiently. Alongside the technical delivery of projects, you will also have the opportunity to lead and support a small team of technicians, helping to coordinate workloads, provide technical guidance and support the development of more junior members of the team.
To be suitable for this role, you will ideally have a strong background in structural detailing and modelling, with significant experience using Revit. The client is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, provided they can demonstrate the required technical capability and experience. Key requirements include:
- 7+ years' experience working as a Revit Technician within a structural engineering environment
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
- Experience using TeklaStrong structural detailing and modelling experience
- Experience working across residential and commercial projects
- Ability to produce accurate and detailed structural drawings and models
- Experience coordinating with structural engineers and wider design teams
- Previous experience mentoring, supporting or leading junior technicians
- Strong understanding of structural construction and detailing principles
- Right to live and work in the UK
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Revit Technician looking to take the next step in their career without moving away from the technical side of the industry. You will have the opportunity to remain heavily involved in project delivery while taking on additional responsibility through leading a small team and supporting the development of junior technicians. The role offers a strong platform for progression within an established consultancy, alongside a competitive salary and benefits package.
