We are seeking a Senior or Principal Structural Engineer to join our client’s Manchester office. This role offers exposure to a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, including rail, highways, bridges, buildings, commercial, residential, and heavy civils. The successful candidate will play a key role in technical delivery, project leadership, and client engagement. With a clear progression plan in place, the role is designed to develop into an Associate or Associate Director position, providing a genuine succession opportunity as the current AD transitions into a broader role.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Chartered or near-chartered Structural Engineer (MICE, MIStructE, or equivalent).
- Proven experience delivering projects across a variety of sectors (rail, highways, bridges, buildings, civils, etc.).
- Strong technical background with the ability to oversee and mentor junior engineers.
- Comfortable working on multiple project types simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Previous experience in leadership or progression towards senior leadership roles is advantageous.
